Precise mechanical logic control enables setting and releasing:
During run-in-hole, the shear pin ensures the tool remains in a
locked state. When setting, an axial load is applied through the
setting tool, driving the slips to anchor and compressing the packing
element to achieve sealing. When retrieval is required, simply lifting
the work string to the preset release pull force causes the internal
mechanical release ring to actuate instantly, forcibly disengaging the
slip anchor and allowing the packing element to rebound and reset, thereby
enabling rapid retrieval without milling.
